Alice Tabor

Alice Tabor, 86, died on Tuesday, January 26, 2016. Alice was a giver to many. She always made sure everyone was fed and had what they needed. Every celebration took place at her house. She retired after many years of service from the ASCS office in Donaldsonville and Convent. She is survived by two nephews whom she raised; Alferd and wife, Kristi and Adrian Hymel; two grandchildren, Linli and Logan Hymel, and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband, Philip “Sarge” Tabor; her parents, Marie Alice Zeringue and Joseph Lovincy Waguespack; five sisters, Edvige, Marie, Agnes, Edith, and Elise; four brothers, Marion, Sylvester Sr., Antoine, and Cyril Sr. Visitation was held on Friday, January 29, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. at St. Philip Catholic Church in Vacherie.
