St. James Parish Celebrates Life Of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. With Commemorative Services

The annual birthday commemorative services that honor Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. for devoting his life to the struggle for civil rights were held, Monday, at Lutcher's King David Baptist Church and at St. James High School's auditorium. Noted author and motivational speaker Edgar F. Poree, Jr. delivered the speech at the East Bank celebration.
