Jacqueline "Sookie" Louque Myrick

Jacqueline "Sookie" Louque Myrick, age 84 entered into rest on Wednesday, January 06, 2016. She was born on June 16, 1931 in Gramercy, Louisiana. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Garland "Buddy" Myrick and her brothers Daniel, Everett, Ronald, Kenneth and Gary Louque. She is survived by her loving children. Linda M. Weymouth and Carolyn M. Weisgerber, three grandchildren, Regan Parks (Jason), Kevin Weisgerber and Kelly Evans (Brian), and three great-grandchildren, Truman and Pippa Parks and Bryce Evans and numerous nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her sisters, Rita LeBlanc, Lois Duhe, and Barbara Scharwath. She was a member of the Golden Age Club and was a parishioner of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. Relatives and friends of the family were invited to attend the Memorial Service at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Blvd. in Metairie on Monday, January 11, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. Visitation was from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Interment immediately followed at the Garden of Memories cemetery, 4900 Airline Drive, Metairie, Louisiana. Condolences may be offered at www.leitzeaganfuneralhome.com.
