Over Two Thousand Lose Power After Severe Weather Blows Through Parish

Over two thousand Entergy customers in St. James Parish lost power early Monday morning following a severe thunder storm that blew through and brought with it heavy rains and wind gusts up to 50 mph. At roughly 3:00 a.m. Monday, a band of rain quickly blew over the Parish, and in the end, 2,222 customers on both the East and West banks of the Parish were left in the dark.
