Kevin F. Chabaud, age 61, was born on May 19, 1954 and passed away on December 24, 2015. He was a native of Paulina and a resident of Gonzales. He is survived by his wife, Deanna Deslattes Chabaud; daughter, Erin R. Chabaud; son, Colby C. Chabaud; brother, Michael Chabaud (Shirlene); sistersin- law, Deborah Chabaud and Donna Chabaud; 2 grandchildren, Logan Rebaldo and Coy Himel. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hickley and Marguerite Poche Chabaud; brothers, Ronald and John Chabaud. Kevin was a motorcoach operator for Calco-Hotard Bus Line. His devotion to family was evident in his daily life. He loved people and being around others. In his younger years, he enjoyed being a member of a bowling league and playing baseball. In his spare time, he enjoyed going to the casino and Disney World. He also loved to watch sports, in particular WWE wrestling, and he was a huge fan of the Lutcher High School Bulldogs. He was a devout Catholic and a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 1817, (1905 W. Main St., Lutcher, LA). Visitation will be at the Knights of Columbus Home in Lutcher on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 from 6:30 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. Visitation will resume at the KC Home on Thursday, December 31, 2015 from 8:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Paulina at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
