When the Louisiana Class 3A high school football season kicked off in late August, I do not think there were many, if any, who could have predicted how this season would unfold. Who in their right mind could foresee that when the Class 3A Allstate Sugar Bowl/LHSAA Prep Classic is played this Saturday, December 12th, at noon in the Mercedes Benz Superdome, that the Lutcher Bulldogs and the St. James Wildcats would be the last two teams standing and that the winner would have to be from St. James Parish.
